Better and up-to-date data for optimal debtor management with Bizcuit

Making business easy. That is Bizcuit's mission. That's why this innovative Utrecht fintech company developed a digital financial assistant: an app that provides SME entrepreneurs with up-to-date insight into their finances 24/7. The links that Bizcuit previously built with all Dutch banks and online accounting packages are also available in the POM platform.

The BizCuit app contains everything an entrepreneur needs to keep their company's financial management running smoothly: banking, sending and receiving invoices, scanning receipts, paying and collaborating with the accountant. In order for the app to work properly, there are links with banks and with accounting and ERP systems. “These links take place via our Banking Hub and Accounting Hub,” says BizCuit CEO Hessel Kuik.

In 2019, Bizcuit was one of the first companies in the Netherlands to receive a PSD2 license from the Nederlandsche Bank. This enabled the fintech to develop the Banking Hub. This link provides access to all banks. View and download bank transactions, check balances, pay: it's all possible via this functionality.

Bizcuit's Accounting Hub connects with a large number of online accounting and ERP packages, such as Twinfield, Exact Online and Minox. This gives users real-time insight into which invoices have not yet been paid and which ones need to be taken action on. Thanks to this link, error-prone retyping of data is a thing of the past.

Fully automated

The Banking Hub and Accounting Hub are both fully integrated into the POM platform. “POM automatically retrieves bank transactions via the Banking Hub,” explains Hessel. “For example, users in the POM platform can see whether someone has already paid or not and adjust the reminder and reminder process accordingly.”

Connect SMEs

With Bizcuit's Accounting Hub, SMEs can also be connected to the POM platform. “Because connecting to the POM platform can be an intensive process, this was previously reserved for large companies with many debtors,” says Hessel. “But through our Accounting Hub, any SME entrepreneur can join. Once the online accounting package is linked, the entrepreneur sees all outstanding items in his own POM environment and can then immediately start managing debts. The connection is only a few clicks away.”

Optimal debtor management

The cooperation between POM and Bizcuit benefits all parties involved, says Hessel. “For POM and ourselves, it means that we can expand our market. But the biggest advantage lies with the ultimate users of POM. Thanks to the links with our Banking Hub and Accounting Hub, they have 24/7 up-to-date data at their disposal for their debtor management. As a result, they achieve better collection results.”
